  • Enclosed car hauler tips/sugestions?

I am looking at buying a new enclosed car hauler, thinking 24" not sure about options I want. Any tips or thoughts? Pulling with a 1/2 ton so think 24' is a nice size. Not sure about cabinets etc. as options.

We bought a new 24' Vintage Trailer in 2011 and we love it. Perfect size for my Mustang with enough room to put a big cabinet/work bench in the front and still have seating room with the car loaded. We added options like an aluminum floor, insulated walls, and the thicker smooth side walls inside and out. We also opted for extra light package which gave us fluorescents inside, low loading lights and some big exterior lights. But the optional escape door was a must. I can drive the car in and open the car door and step right out even with the roll bar. There was no way I was climbing my fat ass out of the window and shimmying down the side. If you get any options, get the escape door. Another thing to consider is going with 16" wheels and good trailer tires, it makes a difference. We added an aluminum cabinet/ work bench bought from Amazon and some PitPal stuff like a door shelf, fuel jug holder, folding chair rack and some tie down hooks. We tow it with a tired 5.4 F-150 and it does pretty well.
