  • Bringing in the next generation

A buddy dropped this off the other day....... and my youngest was getting a little fed up with his older brother for the moment.

When opportunity knocks you answer the door. He did a real nice job painting and didn't even make a mess of himself. Nice job Wes, and thanks buddy!

We did a bunch of grinding first, most of the cuts were rough flame jobs. And it was made from scrap, so some "extra" buggers to dress up as well.

    Taadaa.

    That device looks very familiar...

I still need to assemble a motor to use mine, sometime this decade I hope.

Yours is definitely nicer Tardis...........but I bet we are running neck-n-neck on cost, eh?

And I need to add a starter to ours to be functional. There should be a good one in the stash somewhere.

I don't rent him out, but he does negotiate hourly rates + travel time and meals. Actually he's an awesome little worker, doesn't understand "can't", just finds a way.

I have $70 in the stand from a Speedway motors sale, $25 in gages.
The core trans, starter, & control panel (old CD changer) were free.
The tray, battery, wiring, and gas tank are free from a junk car.
I rebuilt the starter out of a pile of parts so that was free too.
