  • Superbird Values?

OK, you know this isn't for me but it's a trade deal I'm working on. I have a gentleman that's interested in trading his 1970 Plymouth Superbird on a Motorhome, it's a documented 440 - 4 speed car with 60,000 miles and same as new, I know I can look up all kinds of inflated values and B/J prices but any ideas on the real value?

Wow, would it be good to get your hands on that !!
If it really is like new, I would put it up on B-J and get some ridiculous money for it if I were him.
He could probably then buy a RV Park with lots of motor homes.
    A fair price ?
A very subjective question with a car like that. Got any pictures ?

.. oh, and good luck by the way.
    ;)

I'll give him an F150, a boat, 2 Eagles, and a pop up camper
and as many 8-tracks as he wants

I would kill for a 4 speed Superbird
Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.

Phil, if you're considering taking that car on trade for a motorhome - that makes you the coolest motorhome dealer on the planet...!

You could use BJ's for comps but it would probably show the
higher end of the scale.....places like Hemmings might show a
            more reasonable price.

            Ditto DG.......damn, what a cool trade ;D

Hi Scott - Nope, I'm just brokering the deal and trying to get some ideas and hang a number on it. the owner says it's worth $160,000 against the real money on the Motor Home and I don't think it is in this climate.

                maybe not..
but motorhomes are in the same boat..
                overpriced, for this market..

I agree, 160k is too high for a non hemi car .Are we talking about a high end motorhome?

Yep, pretty much, a 98 - 45' Prevost Conversion, but the trade apparently isn't going to work.
