You know that 383 in my '65 Impala? Well, it was in another car before this car. I kept the engine and junked the car it was in.

I'll admit that I have more engines than cars, mainly I kept the original 425 nailhead from the Riviera and am building the 181 destroker V6 for LSR. I'd also like to play with more engines like a V12, Jag XJR AJ16, and some others. However I've not had an engine that I've kept and moved between cars. The closest thing I've done is started building the 4.1L Turbo6 that is in the Riviera when I had a '67 Skylark with the idea of putting it in there but I never got close to installing it before I sold the car. I would probably pull the Turbo6 before selling the Riv just because the market is better with the 425.

I think this says it all. I've done this too along with the matching transmission. Unfortunately I love the car as much as the motor/trans combo but don't have the skills (yet) or the space to fix its ailments.

What's the saying? Don't let perfect get in the way of done.?

I had a 347 Ford that went into several cars. Started in a notch back with nitrous to empty wallets for the import guys in my area, ended with a big eBay turbo in a full-drag '85 T-bird small tire car, when the whole thing was sold.

9 cars. It was in 9 cars, and won me a lot of money. Was built on a shoestring budget as a joke.

We love budget builds around here! Give us a run down on the specs and the cost

The current 2014/2015 plan is to get the 98 back together and SELL IT! Going to pull the 5.0 /T5/8.8 out of the 79 capri. Might put the stock 302/c4/7.5 back in or just sell as a roller. Pull the 5.0 and more than likely the T5 and sell it as a roller dont know that its worth putting the stock motor back in and makeing it run! Its time to consolidate! Going to look for a car with a built rear and a rollbar.
