Dude! I was reading about Breedlove and Arfons going at it hammer and tongs back in the 60's. I've been interested in salt racing since then. I didn't get out there until 1998 for the 50th anniversary Speedweek, and I stayed the full 8 days. Haven't shut up about it since. Ask Peewee.... OVER 500 - Vesco finally does it!
Team Vesco finally went 500 plus on the salt this afternoon at the World Finals, with another new record just short of 500....
It's a Herculean achievement that is the realization of many dreams for decades...
