  • And in Autumn 2022 ECTA Meet News.....

Jake and Lon took Mutt to Arkansas least weekend. They cranked up the turbo a tad and Lon ran a 140+ in the mile which is the fastest Mutt has ever gone with Mercedes power. The guys broke my record which is great by me and said they were really pleased with how the truck goes down the track. The turbo has been loosening up and blowing the flange gasket so they'll work on a cure for that over the winter.

          It's still available to you!

Looking at Andy's pics, I'm a little surprised the guys haven't tried it w/o the front air dam yet but I suppose all in good time.

We talked about it, but they think you told them the truck went faster with it so we didn't try it (but the Neon went faster without its airdam)

Turbine car ran around 200mph (in the 1/2 mile I think?) and sounds exotic!

Two college students have rebuilt the chassis (former Bonneville car that rusted out) and are trying to get it racing again.

I remember that racer. Wasn't it built at Ohio State?

Never tried it. Communication is a tricky thing.
