I'll bring a box of rubber bands for you. Some are the high-performance ones from broccoli. I think there's enough to stretch from the core support to the pinion flange.

Pulled one of the heads off the new engine last night. Had an oil leak from the rear of one. Had a small pinhole in an accessory bolt hole that allowed oil to leak out o the intake valley when in boost. Almost ready to restart and see what happens next.
Just as I suspected when starting this thread, I'd run out of time because of delays, and problems once it was mostly together. Still plan to make it, to at least get a few licence runs done.
I am looking forward to checking out the cad. Is it going to make it or are you licenseing in some thing else?
Steve
Yes still plan to make it early Friday. Just got it running again. Just put thread sealer (doublemint) on bolts and plugged them into the heads. Not a hard fix, just a pain to find and get to. Still have safety gear to install, but whatever gets done is what gets done at this point. Will just have to try and get whatever level competition licence the car techs to and hope it stays in one piece. The car itself is pretty rough around the edges. So don't expect too much.
