  • I have not washed it yet. I have swept out the back. Got the trash out of the inside and vacuumed it out. Then I parked it under a persimmon tree.

The underside of a 5.8L GT40 intake manifold with bad gaskets....

The text was about the truck in general. I swept the bed of the truck, and started cleaning the cab.

Ok , I thought it might be but I thought you hadn’t started opening it up. I’ve never seen anything quite like it before.

              • The lighting is Running! I pressure washed it to get the top layer of crud off. It got dark on me so I will finish washing it another day. I started making a list of all the things that need fixing. Hopefully the junkyard is open tomorrow and I can grab a few of them.

                  • oh shit - that's a high dollar shaft last time I looked ... aluminum, and I bet they don't sell them any more. Might be worth taking to a driveshaft shop.
Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

                    • I went and picked up a steel F150 driveshaft to get the truck back on the move. So far so good. The brakes are spongy so in need to figure that out. I need to get back on my diy turbo install on Foxbody. I want to fix all the little things clean it up and enjoy it but there are a lot of little things. If anyone wants a project I might let it go it's very distracting, running, sitting there saying work on me while the mustang is in jackstand jail.

                        • Multiple project cars is good. If you get frustrated with one, you can change gears and fiddle with the others.

If that's what you need to tell you're self. I think Jennifer does not hate the lighting as much as other projects cars I have had in the past. She suggested I clean out the other half of the house garage and put it there. We really don't have alot of extra driveway to park cars, and she has a hatred for parking on grass there is a ton of stuff to move, put away or trash to get a car on that spot. I am sure that's the best option.

I had the idea that two project cars would be best. One as a long term project and the second as a short term project. With the goal of making a profit on the short term project, to help fund the long term project.

                              • I finished tacking the hot side (up-pipe) together last night. What do you think? I need to figure out the waste gate placement. I was going to put it in the side just below the flange. I was told that is not the best. I might be able to put it in the kink between the merge and straight section below the flange. But I am afraid it will be harder to get to there.

I took pictures but I am getting a file extension error?
