Made it to the 1/4 Sunday afternoon for TNT. First time I have been to the 1320 with the turbo. Same tune as last time but I bumped the boost cut and ignition cut up to more than I thought would be needed. I also bumped the main rev limiter up. After hearing a limiter was blamed for killing an engine not saving ok one.
Pass one, on gate forgot to turn on controller was about a 13.3 @ 104. Second pass I missed second. 13.1 @ 109. Third pass it shook the tire and ran a 12.96 @ 109.38
Great time at the track, it was kinda warm. 60 and 660 were off a little. Looking forward to going back on a cooler day. Glad to get into the 12's for the first time. Next time I hope to put it back on the 28's maybe I can get it to 60 better and get in the low 12's and a little more boost to get the 11.99 on pump 93?Last edited by Russell; November 8, 2022, 07:57 AM.

Got back to the track yesterday. Switched from closed loop boost control to open to try to soften it up a little bit. I am pretty sure I was burning the clutch too much. Made some changes to the clutch tamer to slip the clutch less and was rewarded with a 1.68, 7.96 @ 87.01, 12.42 @ 111.88
There might be a little more ET in taking more slip out. Or I could put some more boost in it. Not sure which one will make it faster with less likely hood of breaking something.
I can't decide what I want to do for winter upgrades / maintenance. I think for upgrades I want to concentrate on data. I would like front wheel and drive shaft speed sensors, and an accelerometer.

With the Cadillac out of commission. The mustang might do some daily driver duty. It currently has water in the coolent system. I have not worried about it in the garage. If I drive it to work. What are the chances it will freeze while I am at work?
Should I put antifreeze in it? I know it's a pain to clean off the race track so I just kept water.

Not being from cold country nor worrying about anti-freeze much, but once visiting a relative in the mountains, I was pretty disappointed to leave in the morning and have the car overheat only a few miles down the road, turns out the radiator had split wide-open during the night. I guess it depends on how cold it gets......
