I did drive it most of the way up the driveway. The spindle / brake swap really messed up the alignment it has a lot of toe in and camber. So that's about as far as I will drive it until I get the front straight.

I moved every inch of wire from the dash foward from my 89 and my head lights don't work now....

Adjusted the toe down to about 3/16 in. I am going to drive it before I make any other changes.
List: mufflers, fix headlights, swap wiper system, insurance, inspection, tags.

Mufflers are loosely installed. I have never liked the h-pipe hangs one is broken so am going to cut it and reweld.

Cut jacked up bolted and reweld the h pipe hangers. Found the loose plug at the multi function switch to make the head lights work!

Still have to get insurance, inspection, and tags.
Before it will pass inspection it needed wipers swapped, and tail lights.

Got it off jack stands, put the column back together, and went for a slow short ride in the subdivision. Found the water leak, the upper hose was not on tight and the hose clap is pretty much stripped.
Other than sounding like an oil can while turning it drove pretty good. At least at slow speeds the spool is not as bad as I was expecting.

I got the wiper linkage swapped, still need to put the motor on. I think I am going to call Hagerty from what I have heard they are cheaper for limited use vehicles.
Goal is to have tags on it by the end of the week.

Sent my application to Hagerty this morning.
Theironically website says 1-2 business days to hear back. I am hoping for one. I am hoping to get it inspected and tagged tomorrow.
I think it will pass I swapped tail lights, zip tied the third brake from the hatch car on the package tray. Sanded the paint off the tag lights. It does not have a rear view mirror but it does have both side mirrors. Hopefully they don't give me a hard time about the roll bar and the harness.
Planning on leaving the hood at home. I am assuming it will be more trouble than its worth.

Don't know to be mader at North Carolina or Hagerty. My application was denied because I told them I was going to take it to the race track. They said NC will not let them exclude the time it on the track. MAD AT NC! When I called the they lady said it would be fine and I filled out all their applications and took the needed pictures, what a waste of time. MAD AT HAGERTY!

Might try Grundy. I called a while back and they were "looser" in their requirements, at least for Mutt. I was looking at getting liability and storage (comp) coverage though so far we haven't actually done that. An interesting note: Our auto insurance carrier covers whatever is on the trailer while it's being towed - IDK if that's common.
