            There you have it. Mechanical restoration; make it run, shift, and stop properly. Repair any windows or latches that may not work as they originally did, paint it, and try to find some original era seats for it.

                  this was at the race I was just at. But I couldn't find it! went to look for it, I have no idea where they were parked. A bit more modern than mine...but I was thinking of something like this. Shorter body, shorter rear. They do look funny.

                      probably a Bluebird bus... had one in the seventies with a BBF up front with a HUGE doghouse!

                        pretty sure it's one of the older Bluebirds, they usually had a tall deck 427 up front and an allison trans.

                                talked to an auction place today, they'll probably be getting rid of the rest of the stuff I don't want to take with me to the new place.

                                I still have to sort out all the parts in the shed into take/don't take piles, as well as some of the stuff in the shop. The house is already done.

                                And I moved most of my equipment/tools the past few days. New shop is taking shape.

                                I don't miss the bus.
