    Newest crap box
    1972 Chevy truck

amazing, even in the dark, with rain obscuring, it still looks like crap

particulars - 350 chevy/350 trans (which is out), relatively solid and was the high-optioned truck of 1972.

    plans

LS and 6L60e, air bags (already have), paint, new interior, a/c, and decent wheels.... but this is a truck, I needed a truck and so I'll be putting a spare turbo 350 in it, probably sand the ugly off, and drive the wheels off it until its turn arrives. brakes work, lights work, motor is an old, smoky POS, but no smog so no problem....

Look, actual floor boards. And a bed floor too! Nice start.

It seems to be missing a 4x shifter though?

the guy I bought it from thought it was good only for parts and was a completely rusted out mess.... figured you folks would find that amusing.

        there is no bondo, anywhere.

4x? no, this is going to be low and on bags....

Another project? That would make a nice Farmtruck clone.

Being from MI, I can assure that it's in GREAT shape! I have a SBF that runs great and would fit right in there - give me a call.

The first time I went to MI was to do a job at Stroh's to work on some packaging machinery. I remember seeing cars rusted at least 1' up with all the window mechanism exposed. And I thought NJ had it bad.

One of the things I love about living here now! Both Mutt and the old Camaro are totally rust-free.

In Iowa, saw a Cherokee in the parking lot, looked thru the wheelwell and could see the baby seat in the back seat...
Don't think you are supposed to see the interior from the wheelwells?

everything for both sides (upper and lower) ... I love it when people are thorough. All the molding is on the tailgate, but none is on the rest of the truck
