Anyways....I got some stuff taken off the car, and got the motor to spin around with a hand crank, got the lifters all working, rockers back on, valves adjusted, and it seems to have compression. The points are missing from the distributor, I ordered some new ones. Got the oil pump to pump oil when operated by a drill. Got the carb off and apart, it might be saveable. Progress is being made.

The pushrods are about 3/8", they have a neat end at the top that comes off, it has the cup for the adjuster screw on the rocker, and fits over the end of the rod.
The carb is lawnmower sized inside.

I would bet that there is a China knock off carb that would work. Look at old tractors.

I'm going to clean up the original carb and use it.

float looks good, hope it works for you... my great aunt told stories of tightening the rod caps on a Model B in the middle of a trip from Galveston to Dallas, and great grandfather marveled at the first time he got from Texas City to Fort Worth without having to stop and open a single gate. Man, that thing sparks memories for me and I never had to drive one!Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

Things were different back then....45 mph was making good time.
I got the wheels off, which involved the use of the torch, hammer, and cold chisel. I was thinking about it, I have 4 old 16" steel wheels that might fit, as well as some 7 and 8" wide aluminum slots. I've been removing all kinds of extraneous parts from the frame, such as the rusted out gas tank, spare tire holder, various brackets and fender remains, etc.
The bent axle might slow me down...it's pushed back about 3" on the driver's side. I might try straightening it a little, or see if I can find another one.
