didn't get a lot done on this today - but got started with a cooling mod

      see the problem?

I need to close this gap up a bit, but ultimately I'll simply move the intake up and put a shade on the top so it draws first from the bottom...

      it does look good

yeah not so much.... the list was right, just didn't have enough sub-parts

I made an executive decision.... not using this one

mostly because if you look in the hole, you'll see the cooler tube takes 2/3rds of the tank.... so I got to looking for options and it appears a C5/C6 Z06 (7.0 liter) radiator is just what the doctor ordered.... so I ordered it anyway and didn't tell them I wasn't a doctor.....

So I bought a radiator... from Entropy Corporation. I hope it gets here....

                    it's here, will it fit?

                    Like a glove

                    with the fan

and worked on the throttle cable

                    some disassembly

headed to the Reno Air Races - so no updates for a bit...

for those who think it is impossible to take 4 days to install a throttle cable, I say AH HA

only problem is the pedal doesn't travel far enough to get WOT.... sigh, day 5 coming soon

I know it would be complicating things, but would you need a intermediate linkage?

                            Radiator work

oh and KTM racing - buy 5 gallons get 4 1/2.....

in my reading today, I noted that the 800 hp FI tech doesn't have timing control.... which may cause me to find another solution for it

so glad I installed the 73 rear - if I stacked stuff on it before, it'd have rolled off... awesome

time to upsize the inlet and outlet

                            practice welds first

                            and away we go

                            and viola

                              Pressure test and fix pinholes

                              then chop down

next up fan mount and radiator mounts

This is more for my reference - but I'll share so others might get the thrill of fiberglass work.... I use West systems, but the 407/404 filler to build up gaps is new to me. I've been using Vette stuff, but I'm not thrilled with its strength..... this should be better
