No, you do not have to remove the glass or the outside weather strip....
the parts
getting close the bloodletting being done - but notice that the bottom hole isn't aligned - Chinesium strikes again. Nice touch that all the bolts are 10mm socket head
I have little confidence that this will survive in any recognizable form but I want the inlets and most of the shape - but it's too narrow for my plans so fiberglass fab is coming soon
first part of my wing arrived
and the regulator
Also like the "Track Tow Point" sticking out of the hood gap instead of down low by the Grill......just in case you do a run off "Mowing the Lawn" and have to dig the Turf out to find it.

oh you clever racers.... this is why you never screw with that old guy at the track.... look closely at the targa top..... 'free' downforce and makes a liability into an asset..... clever, very clever.
Nevermind about the aero stuff today.... I check, it's being delivered by FedUp and is in Troutdale.... and has been there for 3 days (but the WILL deliver it today, according to their tracking).... buffoons.
I have yet to master the art of C3 window glass, I can't even get the stuff in and out of the door. I do have an old Haynes manual now that has some info.
Take it from me, when some people with wives/kids and camera phones can't sit IN a stranger's car they think is pretty they'll sit ON it and my, the pouty little faces when they get chased off.
driver's side done more detail
pull wires
actuator install
it was simply easier to weld a tab to the rod to connect it all up
and just like that, connected
and reassembly of the dash
once the right side regulator gets here, I'll assemble the right side.... between now and then, I have plenty to do... some of the aero should be here tomorrow....
