well, it does look LOTS better. I pulled up to the detail shop and this C8 was sitting outside. I was like "damn, they polished it into a C8".... alas, nope.
nice C8, nice lady who was driving it. Apparently I'm supposed to have a name for my C3 (other then Fuuuuuuuuu). hers is black widow, she said she has lost 3 husbands.... I can't even....
anyway, it turned out very very well
I had protectant put on the hood in a matte... think it looks good
they worked on this for 2 solid weeks and it really shows Auto Lounge for those in Tri-Cities
engine
got home, 2s to goo.... I love my wife's dog, no really, I do, I think
I was, seriously, having trouble with glare the last time I raced this at PDX ... so the matte is for a purpose

not many pictures but a lot of progress.
hired an online programmer - RA Design Performance out of California. I thought he did just bugs (which isn't a bad thing at all, including an 8s bug) but he did a great job of getting my car to run right. No more self-programming. I also learned a lot about the system. Still have a rewire job to do but as of now the car is officially ready to appear in 12 days at the Optima Challenge in Portland
now all i need is a vehicle to haul it there....Doing it all wrong since 1966

Wednesday or Friday at the latest is the word from the shop
I can't praise RA Design Performance enough. I rewired the IACV controller to match the Chrysler requirements (basically move two wires in the pinned connector)
So far, he's spent conservatively 8 hours between Sunday and today getting this thing tuned - and is planning on spending even more getting it fully dialed in, even now, as is, I'd run it but his pushing to make it perfect really impresses me.Doing it all wrong since 1966
