Need to point something out - I'm didn't post that stuff because I'm trying to prove that I'm some kind of legal badass; rather, I want anyone who is having trouble with them to follow that template and turn the screws on them too.... what they're doing is wrong and has already created a legal violation that could cost them a bunch - however, that takes years to realize and this - just like the app I linked - takes their business decision and hangs them with it. Many companies get away with this because the time between legal malfeasance and legal punishment can be decades; thus they do get away with it because they get the money, cause the headache, then get some bankruptable slap on the wrist....
That's the way I took your info in that post. And THANKS for that.

              Time to build a carb

all cleaned and on the new base

I modified the base for boost-reference, so I had to 'fix' that

I know the PO reads this, so normally I don't point stuff like this out - but really, stop it.

              should look like this

my favorite, bare wire to nowhere.. think it's a horn wire..

              tempted to one-wire this

'the right hose' yeah, no... oh well, I was looking forward to building another upper hose out of stainless

this is probably too close to rice, but I like these gauges because they're easy to read

                      Carb assembly

and a problem - the base uses a lever that turns on the body of the carb... which isn't on the proform body

so now I wait for another base...

but it still works for what I need right now - wire routing and fuel system building

                      the pump

first step is to pull the tank apart so I can install - 8 feed lines and cap the other lines that I won't be using.

                      pump will go here...

                      oil sender installed

                      and wiring commences

dagnabit.... power is out. My wife is away, so perhaps I can rebuild a carburator on my dining room table... it's hickory, so it's good... right?
Hickory? Oh yeah, it's all good.

You know hickory so you might appreciate this. We hired a talented Amish fellow to do all the trim in our dining room. Its central to the house, has an open staircase in it as well as 6 doorways and a window, plus the crown molding and the baseboard trim. He asked about color and wife states she wishes it to match the big dining room table, which is a hickory stain on some other workable wood.

I had mercy at this point and made sure he understood that he could use whatever species he wished, just the stain needed to be a close match. Bless him, he said Hickory itself was no problem.

He wiped out every vendor in town for drill bits to predrill little holes for trim nails.

and now you have molding that will last for eternity - heck, if you ever get that big quake they expect from the New Madrid fault, the molding will hold your house together.

Progress - I cut up several trees that fell in the last windstorm and got prepared for the one that's coming tonight... that said, I did get a bit done

a quick how to make wires

                              bend tabs more

                              crimp

                              halfway there

                              all the way there

then I realized that one of the fittings wasn't AN

a bit of welding, a touch of paint and it'll be ready to go
