    we?

the hummer is getting replaced with a new, diesel, Z71 colorado 4 door truck... black. I didn't want black, again but black was value priced so there we go.

I can send you the formula for my teal so you can spray the top and make the black truck look cool!

Uh, no - that wasn't the first word I thought of when he made that most generous offer.

pink is just above teal on my favorites color chart. Of course, those the numbers last and next to last of colors I'd ever use.... but it is above teal. Let's not forget, I was a child of the 80s so pastels were, allegedly, our deal.

Perfectly leveled and starting final panel fitting

and there is some work ahead

the best part is I'm not sure how I'm going to fix it....

Just do it old school , get some hot lead and fill it in ! On a more serious note , I will enjoy seeing you pull that off . I now what I would do with my zero fiberglass experience but I'm going to keep quite and watch .

Time to make it fit and lined up
                            which this is not

                            or this

chop out some flat stock, tape so the fiberglass doesn't stick too badly.

                            more holes in the fiberglass

so I suppose I could have fiberglass the fender to the gill on the car - but taking it off makes it so much easier

                            same here with the nose

                            my happy face

                            trimmed and screwed

                            now removed

                            test fit, again

next up, grind the paint off both sides, then fiberglass the bits on from the back

Looks well handled. I have made up large differences in what-was vs. what-is-desired by spraying on insulation foam, grinding it to shape minus a bit then 'glassing over that.

Sooner or later one of these cars is gonna turn out so good that you'll wanna keep it...
