I've seen that one, the lights don't do it for me.... pretty awesome car, though, kind of shows the potential (and quite low-hanging fruit compared to other, more popular cars)

      parts fell off
      back glass

      passenger door and driver's door

nothing remarkable except that someone used silicone to keep the shims in place

this corner looks like someone worked on it with a paint brush.... it concerns me slightly

all of this to fix hinges and to finish stripping the paint. In the end, these will probably be crank up windows... both motors are toast, the switches don't work and frankly I'm capable of rolling up a window

Bob - I have pics in both threads. Something is funny in the Pacific NW.

              The next pictures have strippers

ooo la la, right? sadly, those pictures of the worst strippers you could possible find.

do you already have the roll up stuff?
i have both sides, tracks, regulators, handles, etc...
you just need to find the door panels to work with them
                or buy new repro panels.

pm me if you want to discuss this.

I don't but I may take this opportunity to give myself a bit of shoulder room by replacing all the internals with removable, plexy windows.... this isn't a grocery getting, it won't have locks.... thanks though

                    a bit more sanding
                    before

during - someday I will find out what those 'stripping' wheels are good for.... usually they simply create a lot of debris but no real stripping, this time... too much

                    80 grit

hmmm... it does raise the dust

and the hood arrived.... me likey, a lot

it had 2 chips on it, saved me $200....

that looks like a lot of volume under hood!!

As much as I'd love to keep boxes like this around - there just isn't the room.... Buick seems okay with it

                          remove bolts

                          try fitting for real... ugh

                          better

if anyone is curious who made it

notsobetter - I solved this with heat.... pictures tomorrow.

oh you must be kidding me - need to drill out the support to 5/16

they suggest hood pins.... I have hood pins

                          schnazzy, no?

I'd love to move it closer to the windshield but the pins would go straight through the wiper pivot

wonder how much faster it would be if I turned them to flow with the wind?

onto other issues.... non-adherence of the fender

                          cut, glue, clamp fixeded

time to work on the nose - now that I have the hood, I can make all of this solid

and spent some time getting the last of the paint off with aircraft remover (you can't see the aircraft so clearly it's worked)

                          verse 2

                          and the sail panels

things that puzzle - why would you only seal up the driver's side?

Probably the best thing in this thread.

                                sanded a bit today

then spent quality time looking for door bolts
then worked a few minutes on the front.... I have the actuators coming so maybe I can get this buttoned up
