probably aware of this, but if you use duct tape the fiberglass won't stick at all (I've had it stick to painters tape when I've spread it further than planned.....) I've lined simple molds with duct tape in the past when I was too lazy to do it the right way lol.Doing it all wrong since 1966

might as well glue the rest on - since I have to keep the shop 70 degrees anyway for at least 2 hours....
more of the same on this side
line up the front
remove
clean up
the blue tape made taking the holding bits a snap
like this
more fiberglassing
yes, it's not green like the other side.... that's all so 60 years from now some punk kid on TV (or whatever they're watching) can bitch and moan about how terribly I did.... eff em.
and glue
and installed
and installed again
fortunately I burn waste oil otherwise keeping an uninsulated shop 70 degrees in 30 degree weather would be an expensive challengeDoing it all wrong since 1966

fiberglass resin came from Napa and Home Depot (bondo brand). without going into the argument, fiberglass resin is fiberglass resin... yeah, there are some who'd consider those fighting words, but I don't care - it all holds the same.
the glue is 3m 8115 - which bonds pretty much anything to anything, it's for metal to plastic but it's also good for plastic/plastic or even metal/metal. It comes in two forms - quick dry for production and what I used - the 8115 which takes a couple hours to set at 70 degrees, then 24 hours to reach full strengthDoing it all wrong since 1966
