Some may know some may not. Dad and I bought this car last July and it's been a heck of a car. It had it's problems but I have just about got them all worked out and been able to enjoy it as I worked on it. I bought new wheels and tires for it first to get the look I wanted. Then I started on it to get it driving right with new 506 power steering box. Took the assist out. Man what a difference that was! Reworked the brakes all the way around and have it stopping good now. Power disc up front with new rear brake and wheel cylinders in rear. New dual exhaust also. I then worked on the lights and wiring. it still has some problems but it's much better than it was.
I also redid the AC system. The hoses are all new along with o rings and oil for 134-A. We drove the car yesterday a little over 150 miles and it ran great and ran cool. It was 90* outside and humid but we stayed nice and cool at 38* on med fan setting. The car has a long ways to go before it's done but it sure has come a long way in less than a year.
I also added LED tail lights to it. New emblems all around it. New aluminum radiator with over flow. I also installed all new shocks with new center cap emblems.
I took it Friday morning had it detailed and then drove it Saturday a little over 150 miles for our cruise in to NC. While in NC.
I traded a auto tilt column this weekend for a tilt column for the center console with the tach cutout already done. I plan on a 5000 RPM tach install when I pull the steering out and a upgrade under dash wiring.
