  • Just curious......
Someone Stole your Vet in a Open Public Place, where do you put your TOOLS in a Open Parking Garage?

    Comment

    • its actually a secured garage-- need a key or remote to get in.
however yes there have been many things go missing here.
so everything either gets locked in closets, or trunks, or sheds,
or back of the blazer, carried into living room, etc....

part of the reason why it takes forever to do anything is because
pulling out all the tools and supplies and then putting them all
away again is such a huge production.
i mean, you know-besides the whole "fat, lazy and useless" deal....

        • hopefully ill be going home in the next couple days (before the weekend is my hope.)
as my sentence has been commuted by the warden. (mom...) and somehow i scored
a new/reman vega box, pitman arm and mounting bracket off fleabay for just around $160,
AND it ships in the flat-rate "if it fits it ships" box. yeah!

so that decides for me if i was gonna run push/pull or cross steering. hard to argue with the
'bang for the buck' factor. gotta start eyeballing stuff when i get home, as ill be back in maui
          again way too soon..........

          • had a "car crackhead" episode last night and ended up dropping the crank into the 454 block
for the 55 plymouth at 3:45 in the morning cause i couldnt sleep...

next up--ring the forged 10-1 TRW's and drop them and the scat forged 7/16 capscrew rods
in and get em all torqued to spec. baby steps, but progress is progress ill take what i can get!

Knaack box, like contractors use but bolted down? Although people want too much for them and I suppose anything can get broken into if there is enough time.

I've been ripped off at two places I worked on cars in, once over the fence and once through the skylight, both times the next-door neighbors who act like your friends but have you totally scoped-out. My kid asked me about a gated community once, I told her the gate was to keep all the criminals in.

I'm okay with tossed, dropped should be forbidden, but you do you buddy

....and I'm sure you've never dropped and broken an expensive part - those Hawaiians, too bad they don't play football....
