  • so how long do you think this one will stay? 96 C1500 W/T

after the fiasco with the jimmy i was still looking for a truck of some sort 4x4 and instead i got a 2wd with an open rear that will probably never be in the snow LOL

in other news i bought tires for the focus

the truck is base (being a W/T is sort of a given)

only option this truck has is the 4l60 auto other then that no boxes where checked

there is no cruise, no a/c, rubber floor mat, manual locks, manual windows, and the column does not even tilt

not 100% what my plans are yet but have no options at all doing a LS or vortec small block would be pretty easy

Derby guys love those SS rims, they narrow them or run skid steer/forklift tires on them..

I think I may have a pair of drop spindles for that, if you wanna go that route.

would be interested i was going to do a 4/5 drop with a drop springs and spindles in front and axle flip with lift shackles in the back

also sense the truck is so base i am going to go crazy and backdate the interior to that of a 88/89 grandpa had a 88/89 truck with a 90+ gauges (the needles he swapped out the half moons) and loved that truck

I've got springs too but I'd have to confirm what they are exactly. You can have all this (the stuff could use a new home) but we'll have that dang shipping expense again...it would be something to compare against sourcing them locally.

let me know i will keep an eye out local but depending might just be worth it to pay the shipping

robbing some parts form the GA but they will be easy to replace

stole the prop valve s i can remove the busted ABS pump and the brake line kit will mostly work will need to get another section to go from the front to the rear axle but easy

then i get to replace the spider as it;s leaking in the intake got a deal on a used revised one form the 2006 express van with the tiny injectors at the ends instead of poppets
