[QUOTE=I wasn't aware that any LX models were ever made in 2011 - is this real?[/QUOTE]
Could very well be, Only way to tell is the VIN code. P71 / P7B would be the "Police Interceptor" P74 / P7E would be the LX or civillian packages.
Listing is gone so I can't verify via the link.

Last night I started getting cylinder #5 misfire engine codes. Pulled the coil, there is a crap ton of coolant in the well. Our homeschooling group's auto upkeep class lab is scheduled for Saturday. Guess the kids get to swap an intake manifold on Saturday morning.

Wow! I think it took me 3 weeks to replace the one on my towncar. In my defense I did replace the valve cover gasket while I was there. Way to have a bunch of kids make me feel like a sloth.
What intake did you replace it with?

But I needed it for Saturday, and this happened Wednesday night. Amaz, on was saying they wouldn't get it to me until the 12th. So I looked at Summit and Jeg's. They were better, but saying they wouldn't get it to me until Tuesday the 9th.
Then I had a moment of clarity. This should be a service part stocked at any Ford dealership. So I went to Tasca and looked for the manifold there. They had it, and it was about the same price as a Dorman. Great! Now for the punchline. They wanted $60 for ground shipping, or $180 for 2 day air.
I laughed.
They did give me a part number though, 1W7Z-9424-AB
This I ordered through parts.ford.com so I could pick it up from the parts counter at my local dealer. Ended up being a little more, but I got it on Friday with no issues. This is the same intake the Ford Racing puts out.

I got the Ford racing one, I am 99.9% sure it the same as the one that came on the Lincoln but with out a layer of insolation. My opinion is the insolation is for sounds deading. Normal driving I can't tell a difference, at WOT it might make a little more engine sounds.

I didn't think these motors had that probably,. O don't think I would mind the drilling part, getting the chips out might bother me. I guess when it's someone elses you might not have to worry about it.
