Well I would love to put this in the $5000 challenge but that won't happen. I have had the Falcon for 14 years and haven't done anything with it. I got a free disassembled 2012 Coyote from a friend and I had a rebuilt world class T5 sitting around waiting for a project so I thought I should put this together. Steve!!

Only thought from me is a T5 is not likely a great match for a Coyote engine unless you never intend to drive it aggressively.
Otherwise, get after it and post lots of pics.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

I know a guy with a couple falcons, I assume step one will be removal of the shock towers and install of some modern front end with rack and pinion etc.
Coyotes are sweet but WIDE.
I have to Echo BBR - unless you never plan to run slicks, or even sticky street tires, the T5 will be short lived with the power output of a Coyote.
What EFI control set up are you going to use? There's always something new to learn.

Well here is another try at posting pictures. I didn't change a thing when I was posting pictures of the Bonneville Zephyr so I don't understand why they don't come up this time. I know the T5 is a little light duty but I can't get a very big tire in the stock wheel well so I think it will be OK for now. This one is just going on the street as I have my Zephyr and Model "A" to race

Check out Welder series - best bang for the buck chassis and suspension parts I've found, he's got a nice mustang 2 front end set up. I have a stock M2 in the front of mine, and have no issues with the manual steering, for this light of a package - I don't think power steering would be worth the hassle or cost. I also kept the stock wheel wells, it makes the look of the car, IMHO. Great looking delivery! There's always something new to learn.

For you people that didn't get the pictures, it is a 1963 tudor Falcon wagon. I have ordered a TCI front suspension kit as they make a kit for pre64 Falcons. I also have a possible deal cooking as I found a fellow with a small block ford looking for a T5 and he wants to trade a 2010 Mustang 5spd with integral bell housing that bolts to the coyote engine so I will see if that works out. At the moment I am working on an oil filter adapter for a remote oil filter and cooler as the Coyote one is too bulky.
