ID:	1291315 So one of Fords not so better ideas was to mount one end of the shifter mount on the transmission with rubber bushings and the other end on the body. I shortened up the shifter mount 3 inches and replaced the rubber bushings with nylon. I tried to figure out how to get another mount off of the transmission and ended up machining this aluminum block and bolting it in with 2 bolts on the bottem and one on the top. I welded a 1/4 inch flat bar to the shifter and then connected the aluminum block to that with 1/4" X 2 1/2" aluminum flat bar. With this modification I have a sturdy shifter that is mounted to the transmission so on to other problems!!

ID:	1292914You can see the problem with the coyote and master cylinder so I moved the master cylinder away from the engine and then modified the pedal assembly similar to a fox body with a lever so the pedals stay in the same place.

ID:	1293030Well the rad I ordered 5 months ago finally showed up. Had to trim about 4 1/2 inches of sheet metal on both sides of the rad and tig weld some aluminum angle onto the tanks to mount it but I think it will work OK. Click image for larger version

Well I stopped at the Ford dealer in town and was going to pick up a coyote alternator to install on the engine but wholesale price was $850. Canadian (about $600 US) so I passed. The coyote alternator bolts to the block on the drivers side but I carved up an aluminum mounting bracket for the passengers side. Now I can use the old style Power Master Ford alternator that sells for $200 up here!!

ID:	1294362 Well it took longer than expected but the exhaust system is complete. I have a pet peeve about exhaust systems that dump in front of the rear axle and I wanted to go over the diff and finish the exhaust off with a couple of resonators and turn downs at the back bumper. Have to get the engine up and running to hear what this is going to sound like!

Subtle... That is a pretty exhaust! Post a video of the rumble if/when you can? Would love to hear it.

ID:	1311467 Well I am finally back on the project. cardboard patterns for sheet metal tunnel. Ended up shorter in steel so that the rear seat will flip forward like a station wagon should. Also tied the floor together with a heavy duty driveshaft hoop
