I like that bed, cool that you could get it taller as you wanted. I was interested enough, I looked up their site, http://www.pros-pick.com/ Be warned if that's electro-galvanized steel, some paints work on it and some don't.
The "hump" in the firewall was probably just so they could use the same stamping as they did in the regular trucks, which would then be for inline-six clearance. Yeah no reason to keep it.

That's the way I was leaning as well, all chevies from the 1930s and up had the stovebolt hump in the firewall...

All the brake lines are done. I had a heck of a time bleeding them, and finally got it! I need to hook up the TV cable, throttle cable and the shift cable to the bottom of the column and ......... we are going for a DRIVE!
Ran into some issues with throttle cable. Since the gas pedal is in front of the engine, my throttle cable was too short and was binding. Ordered a 72 incher.
Holley says a tv cable bracket is not necessary... I call BS. So I made this one. I have altered it since the pic and added the throttle cable. Works good.

awesome. My wife asked me, once, after I took something that looked about like that on the street for its first run, what kind of ticket I would get. I told her "all of them" ....
With the air ride stuff in the way, I raised the floor 5”(that’s why I wanted the bed sides taller, and looks more proportional to the cab). Wheel tubs and notch cover are next.
