I've been sick all week since last Saturday. I finally told myself I had to go work on the 68. I got 8.5hrs of welding, grinding, cutting sheet metal done all today.

The driverside is almost done. Tomorrow it should look much better. I started with this.

looking good! I've been trying to find a 67-72 GMC ('burb or truck) for a bit, I'd like to find one to replace my '88 Suburban since a dumb drunk totaled it.

I got the push on door seals, and latches and exterior door handles on it yesterday. Had to realign the drivers side door some but both shut & open good now. I will be ordering a set of these P/O door seal's for my 71 C-10 for sure.

Short lived. I just sat it there to take the picture! Been working on the door glass and vent windows. I also put the cover over the under dash harness. I have to decide where to cut the purple wire to install the pig tail for the NSS on the column.

I got the drivers side door done yesterday and the new dash pad installed. Heater box stuff is all painted and new heater core installed ready to go in the truck.
Waiting on the new plug wires to show up so I can finish up the motor and install the heater without the fenders back on so it want be as hard. Then the fenders and front end can go on.

Ok the passenger side vent window is done. I did it in a hour and it's way better than the drivers side as far as rivets working. Using the white lithium grease spray lubricant made a world of difference on installing the rubber into the tracks.

Got the dash, tilt column, heater and most of the wiring inside back in the truck. Moved the wiper switch over to the passenger side of the dash and put the wiper motor back in. Got a small S 10 washer jug today to put electric washer in it. Got booster, bracket and master in waiting on the proportioning valve.
The steering union should be here tomorrow to finish up the column then on to the power steering pump and hoses.
