        Bingo.
Of all the paths you take in life - make sure a few of them are dirt.

No No! NOT a "loft" - that's where farmers put hay. It's a mezzanine! At least that's what EPA called them and I guess that sort of stuck in my mind. Either way, it's a good thing to think in terms of cubic feet and not square feet - you often don't need all the height you have so add a floor and use it all.

But I thought a mezzanine was self-supporting and sits directly on the floor?

Either way - yep cubic thinking. This was the plan from the start for this building....baby steps....

                IT'S a "Loft" !!!!
A Mezzanine requires, "Toe/Tool Boards, 2 Rung Railings, And Steps, or a "Fall Guarded Ladder" with Tie Offs and a Fitted Harness for any Height above 6 feet..........
                DEFINITELY A LOFT......LOL

Mine has that stuff. It was moved from a HUGE commercial warehouse. BTW - go with a stairway! That's probably the best part of mine as access is SO much easier.

Yes. "Minions, listen to me!" Of course that would be me talking to myself.....

Stairs are planned but "we" aren't sure where "we" want them yet. So once "we" decide I shall declare "Let there be stairs!" and then I shall have me go create them.

                        Progress.

Pull down stairs? With proper counterweight they work well.
