        • That gets us about caught up. We need to reengage the project here and get going on cleaning and refinishing all the little things that we need to complete the car. We did pick up the rechromed wing window frames last week and dropped off the quarter panel scallops ($75 each for 18 of them). I really hope we are done with chrome after that.

          • Holy crap!! When you first posted pictures of this I thought, "Wow, thats a pretty clean car". I cannot believe the level of work you've put into this! It will be sweet when done....but man, when I see all that intricate metal fab work...all I see is $$$$s. lol, I guess thats why this hobby is a PASSION!

            • I like the work your body guy is doing. I can cobble stuff together and get it close enough for a swipe of filler but he's getting it close enough for a shot of primer! That's a whole different level of skill. And yes, this is going to be pricy as I'm sure you know. But you do it right or you do it twice (or more than twice).

As far as William - they are special people. Joshy isn't old enough for us to know what his special talent will be but he's come further that I ever thought he would. He was non-verbal until 7 but can now make his needs known with words though it isn't easy for him. He was fortunate in that our son and his wife are the perfect parents for him and his big brother is patient and understanding. So proud of all of them.

              • Looks like you are improving on your skills too. More than one reward for doing this stuff. Looking great!

                    • Thanks guys. It is certainly a poor financial decision from a return standpoint. When we started the project, I told people that I hoped the car would be worth half of what we had into it when it was done. It will wind up being a very different fraction in the end. That being said, we are very happy with the work being done and are excited about the prospect of having a complete car sometime soonish.

                          • Mike has been busy taking care of all the details that need to be done before reinstalling the quarter panel. Cleaning and coating stuff that was probably never coated in the first place.
