We got about 20 minutes of run time for cam break in. It needs to be tuned as we were primarily concerned with keeping it running in the proper RPM range. Of course now that it has fluids in it they need to come out. Oil from the valve cover (pushes out the upper rear drivers bolt when running and there is not supposed to be any pressure there) and drain plug. Trans fluid from the dipstick tube (I don't believe that o-ring was replaced). Gear oil from the rear axle (Pinion seal not yet replaced). Power steering fluid from the professionally rebuilt gear. Coolant from the professionally rebuilt pump and the lower hose almost blew off at the end of the start up run.

That gets us current. We are currently working to nail down the paint colors. They will need to be custom mixed to match the original 50's colors. We are keeping the same top color (Pecos Beige) but going with a 1955 Cadillac color for the main body. If things go according to plan, we should need that color for the firewall soon as we are planning to get the body back on the frame before bodywork begins in earnest.

Everything that was media blasted was sprayed with High Teck epoxy primer.
