Excellent! I used scissor trusses over the hoist in the Ann Arbor shop (Dave G spent many hours there) and that's essentially what you made here. Should work out great for you. If anything your home-made scissor trusses are stronger than my store-bought ones. Believe me, the hoist will be worth the effort! The older you get the happier you'll be that you have it.
Couple of weeks ago we pushed the parts car outside. First up was to fix the left front wheel. The tire was blown out and the hub felt like it was barely holding on to the spindle. I took it apart and the inner race for the outer wheel bearing was missing. I cleaned it up and put it back together with out the race and got it good enough to roll. Added Annies spare and voila:
The front seat had some spacers installed. Probably to help Teresa's grandma see over the dash. We are thinking about using a bigger spacer when we reassemble.
