im in maui again, but came across the "cant possibly pass it up" section
of craiglist again....2 (pair) REAL ansen sprints in 15x4 (you can read the
casting in the 2nd pic...) in GM 5x4.75 pattern.... and the guy wanted $50.
i made him take $100, these are worth WAY more than that to me.

they are going on the front of the 48, chrome steel 15x10s in rear, and
we are going to straight axle this car too..... scraping the ground street rod
stance be d@mned! the only question is speedway again, like the 55
(although its pricey) or something else....

like chop the center pumpkin out of a 4x4 front end........

eyeballing it they LOOK straight... then again, so do you, so..........

but who knows till i mount and spin em.
they do "ring" clean when you tap em with a hammer, an old guy told
me if they sound 'staticy' or 'buzzy' when tapped with a metal tool,
they may be cracked somewhere you cant see.

whether thats true or not i dunno......

an old timer taught you how to bang.... too bad he didn't teach you that people who sell cheap stuff aren't necessarily stupid.... let's not forget I have a full set of bent C6 wheels behind my shop.... I didn't even bend them, but I sure did drive a long distance to get them....

i looked for 3 years to find another set of
vintage pizza cutters.

the 'normal' 6-7-8 inchers arent bad price
wise, but the skinny fronts or fatbastard
10-15" rears are bucks.
