I’ve done a little more on the hot side, I’m waiting on another u-j bend . But I did receive my Summit order today.

Pro Stick is done and installed. The hardest part of the job was inserting the clear lens in the shift knob , no QC that day. I also sprayed the cab floor (underneath) with truck bed liner. The turbo down pipe is partly done .
The plan is to have the truck a roller this year and in that I mean it won’t be running. I plan on using a Terminator X and a Holley dash in this S10 and that’s going to be a few bucks . So this way I’ll have time to get the dollars together.Last edited by langleylad; June 2, 2021, 07:07 PM.

This weekend’s project is a rear tank conversion. The new tank is from a 93 S10 Blazer . So after work today I got on it . You start by removing the crossmember that the spare used to hang off of and you need to install a 40” wide piece of mild steel 4x4 angle across the back to tie the rails together and hang the tank off of. Back at it tomorrow.

For some reason this made me think of '70's cars with the filler tube under the license plate, vented gas caps, and half a gallon of fuel thrown on the pavement at every hard launch... lol. I'm guessing you have to move the filler neck on the bed?Last edited by Beagle; June 5, 2021, 07:55 AM.Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

Frame modifications for the fuel tank are done. Which consisted of installing a crossmember at the rear of the frame and one just behind the differential. Both made from 4x4 angle . Both had mounts for hanging the tank . I then cleaned and painted the frame. Before cleaning and painting I removed the rear end to make doing so easier. Surprisingly I found a damaged bushing in the wishbone of the Ridetech suspension. I emailed Ridetech last night about getting a replacement but haven’t heard back yet.
