Since this thing is a toy for me to have fun with and since I’ve always liked the big and little look I went with 15x4 . It’s not going to see any highway action . Yesterday I ordered some 165 x 15 Coker Firestones. This will give me the look I’m after and in the rear I’m almost certain that I’ll get Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S radials in a 275/50 15.

        • Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S 255/60R15’s have been ordered. Now to sit and wait patiently for the parts to roll in … I’m not very good at that

Then I went on Amazon and bought a few bits and pieces to get the job done. I wanted to mount it to the floor but since my shop is small it can’t sit there permanently. I drilled 3 holes in the floor and installed threaded anchors . Today after work I mounted the fronts without any drama. The back tires should be delivered in a couple of days.

                            • There is always something else. I knew that running 15” wheels upfront that there might be some interference with the larger brakes (2000 Camaro) I installed. I had 16” wheels on with a 1/4” spacer and there was lots of room, so I rolled the dice and ordered 15”. My other choice was a 17” wheel but then my tire choice was very limited. The problem I incurred was the end of the calliper touching the backside of the wheel, so I had to order different spacers. I received my back tires a couple of days ago and they look awesome. I got out the Prostars that I found on Marketplace and they had big brass valve stems installed that I don’t care for so I went to swap them out . The stems I was going to install were to small in diameter for the hole in the rim. So I now know that there are two sizes of valve stems available , lesson learned. The correct one will be delivered today. There’s always something …
