Coming along. Save those battery cables - I could have used them for a few rear battery moves over the years so no doubt someone will need them.

The trick was keeping the pattern equal, and in continuing from left panel to the right panel

then remove ALL the old carpeting, and padding. Click image for larger version

Got lucky, the Carpet and the Upholstery were bought from different sources, and the dark reds are very close.

There was some Compound Cussing used here!
And I thought just keeping the pattern to match was going to be the challenge.......
Had fitment issues, even using the old hardware and holes! But perseverance, and 3-4 Beer Breaks, and Success !!

This will be installed later after the left wall panel is installed, and the rear Air Conditioning Unit is mounted, and the rear seat location is marked.
Everything has to go in by s certain order, or something else is going to be in the way !

For the last thing on this morning's update is the circuit system for the rear area, using the in the floor auxiliary battery box.

There is a feed from the Dual Battery Charge system in the engine compartment. A battery cable to feed the winch plug on the rear bumper.
And the feeds off the circuit breakers to the rear 12 volt systems. Click image for larger version

There is a Battery Isolator Solenoid, with a ignition (engine running) only saved from the old wiring. This way there won't be any backfeed, as the rear auxiliary battery also has a charging circuit if plugged into a Campground 120 volt supply.

In the picture you will notice a little problem.
The Negative battery terminal is hitting the floor support at the hatch opening.
This is a Used battery salvaged from another project. It's too tall, even in this large battery box. There is over 4" of room for it to slide to the right under the floor.
I will leave it as is until this battery dies. Then get a new one that fits.

                          Until a next Sunday morning.....
