Well I've been dealing with the Terminator X Max since Friday night. The handheld fires up and cannot connect to the ecu. I've tried every trick I've found on the internet, and NO BEUNO!
Not a single led on the ecu has so much as flickered.
I've flashed the hand held unit, it updated, but still no communication. Tried with a PC- nope.
Unless someone here can provide some insight, It's looking like a 3 hour call to Holley tomorrow and send the never used ecu in for service
I wish I had saved the $$ and used the factory ecm and crusty wiring

I have read and heard similar accounts regarding pre-oiling.
My engine is a LQ4 from a wrecked truck.
It's been sitting in my shop almost 3 years.

The pre-oiler is necessary for an LS. I killed 2 of them by not pre-oiling although I pulled the plugs and sun them up until I had indicated oil pressure. They were from LKQ and I worked with their tech guy who sent a 3rd one and we decided between us to pre-oil the new one. When I was down with the flu, I clearly spent too much time on the internet
OK, to be honest, I'm sick and tired of crawling on the floor. I've been putting off a few things I need to make.
This still needs the tabs welded from the outside, it's a tank at 3/8" thick x 36" x 48" x 6"
I got an email from the vendor offering a nice discount for a cancelled order situation.
On the truck front, I still haven't started the engine.
I did hang the passenger side sheet metal to do a final confirmation of fitment.
Also, for better leverage to snatch out a little crease on the door.

It was an unexpected purchase, and I'm hurting for space, but you just don't see these for sale.

The C-10 has been patiently waiting for some affection.
I have started the dreaded wiring and plumbing.
I want to fire this thing up before it gets enclosed much more.
I've never heard this engine run.
Don't laugh at my garden sprayer aka "pre-oiler" gizmo.
I borrowed the idea from the internet. I'll let you know if it works.
This project is officially out of control....I mean, I didn't even plan on painting it when I brought it home.
It's getting a bit chaotic under here too.
The Falcon Delivery was getting JEALOUS.

Holy CRAP! the last 7 months have been a blurrrr.
The flag count has passed the 400 mark including a few to keep for us LOL!!!
Had this Falcon follow me home
It came with a 302, SFI bellhousing, flywheel, and 2 mostly JUNK 2 door parts cars, I still need a WC T5 or a C6 if I have to go that way.
Stand by, this one is still outside.
Last week, I made a 750 mile round trip intending to buy a crew cab, square body ramp truck.
The truck was so far below the pics and description, I didn't even make an offer. That was a day killer!
I have been able to hit a lick on the c10 here and there.
I have the bed jammed out and started the FINAL assembly (I hope)
It's nice to be back in my wheelhouse .... literally :-)

The deal with this was my friend bid the job as flat units with some gimmicky fractal burning etc.
The 3d machining I introduced to the project added time and some steps to the process that we agreed to not charge for THIS TIME.
The customer is aware that if he requests more the price will be more.
I'm not sure I'm willing to drive the 80 miles a day to do it again.
I AM however considering a MAJOR CNC upgrade. If that happens, GAME ON!

The customer never told us what his retail price would be.
Based on the very few I've seen around, I'd guess $150-$180 at this size, but just a guess.
