BTW, those seats were recovered several years ago for a suburban project that never took off. I went "picking" in my own storage shed.
Check out this new rag joint that's been on backorder for weeks. UUGGGG
The bore is too big and only 1/3 of it has splines.....Want to guess where it was made?
they are stout. But you don’t get the dampening of the rag.

The other head was worse, someone tried to drill out a broken exhaust stud and missed.
It's ALWAYS something.
A new long block and a Terminator would save a lot of time.
This way I can try learn the Vudu....and pretend I'm saving moneyA.K.A. Brian

I'm pretty good with the ones out of my control, the ones I cause tend to cause flying objects and bad words to happen .
I'm pretty sure I don't even qualify for the burnt hands category. I depend on stubbornness to achieve goalsA.K.A. Brian

Yeah well, like I said before, I've never been accused of being smart.
I just wanted to be able to say, "I've done it".
I would rather understand the process than take the easy way and buy the "kit"
Not that there's anything wrong with the kit, this is primarily a brain exercise for me.
IF I ever do it again, shortcuts will have been earnedA.K.A. Brian

Not a lot of progress here lately.
Too cool and damp to proceed with body work. It's hard to justify heating the tall building for a few hours a night.
I have assembled a few of the interior cab parts (yes its too early but i needed a fix).
