I've had one of those Happen, Too !!
They Can Happen to Any Family......
It started out with a Dripping Faucet.
"Oh, Dam, this has been leaking under the sink for a while...." the drywall is funky....

    $3,500.00 later......Faucet is Fixed !!

Ours started because of a blue shower/tub unit that's dated 10/86 on the back.......yeah, the faucet had a slight drip too.

The up side is no leaks or rot to deal with.
The down side is It looks like I will need to cut a hole in the finished basement ceiling. The drain to the new unit looks slightly different.
Bathroom will get new vanity top, flooring, shower assy, faucets, exhaust fan and paint.
Not soooo bad right?!?, she ordered flooring for the kitchen too....We ALL know where that leads!!

We expect to depart the Communistwealth of Virginia in the next 24 months. I'll let her enjoy some of the resale upgrades for a change.

If you are going to find any green on this cab now, you'll have to work for it.

Epoxy primer and 2 coats of Lizard Skin noise barrier. Once it cures (24-36 hours minimum), I'll add the heat shield to it.............I hope it works

Apparently not enough, I could have used another 1/2 gallon or so

The 21-gallon fuel tank under the bed should ease a bit of your trauma

                        Thanks John!

I was out of the shop for over a week, but made a bit of progress today.
Last week I got the ceramic insulation on at the last minute.
Today scuffed the epoxy, and touched up the inevitable burn though spots, and slammed on the galaxy silver metallic satin paint.
It's Hot Rod Flatz brand single stage urethane. It's sure hard to see in there, I hope there's not any bare spots

I think you've finally got her into a submissive state and smoother sailing from here. Looks good.

Looks like the interior color, seats, belts and carpet will work out.

The lq4 is taunting me. I just sent the pcm off to be vats/smog deleted. If it runs as promised, I'm gonna bolt it in.

Love how this thing is coming together. Nice choices on the interior paints.

Thanks John, 'coming together' is an extremely kind analogy, but I do apricate it

BTW, those seats were recovered several years ago for a suburban project that never took off. I went "picking" in my own storage shed.

Check out this new rag joint that's been on backorder for weeks. UUGGGG

The bore is too big and only 1/3 of it has splines.....Want to guess where it was made?
