not really kidding either. still in the planning stages but 3 30x40 shops would be more useful to me - whether it's one dividable shop or 3 separate buildings, don't know yet. Reasoning is simple. Often times 70 degrees is needed for bodywork but I'd rather work in 60 degree temps.... also, nothing throwing sparks anywhere near freshly painted vehicles would be a good thing.
also, there are things that need to be covered but not inside - e.g. tractors, plows, etc....Last edited by SuperBuickGuy; October 5, 2024, 04:16 PM.Doing it all wrong since 1966

Interior (at least most of it) arrived today
dash I had recovered to give it a softer appearance.
and a new insert
not sure I'm thrilled with this part.... mostly because the glue on it is worthless
not sure this was the red I wanted but I really like it so it's all good
recovered headliner
put a lot more bolts in, can't tell except the battery is back in (which means the fender is on for good)
also need to add another elbow to the intake - so the coolant tank fits back in

The wheel from the Camaro race car was gummy so I know where he's coming' from. The final layer of plastic stuff that they dipped them seems to deteriorate over time and turns gummy. I tried everything starting with Windex, on to hand cleaner and lacquer thinner and ending with brake clean and there was no bringing it back. That said, you have nothing to lose to throw everything at it and see if you can find the magic potion.

time to adhere the badge
so I've been fighting this for a minute getting the heated mirror wires through the tube through the door frame
but I found a solution, panduit reminants
first, though, you need to pull the grommet all the way through
it's large enough and stiff enough to push through but yet still make bends
same story v2
