this is the 1999 gmc sierra i got for $700. it doesnt need much at all.
i dont really have many plans for it other than keep it running and driving so i can use it while i swap the 5.3 in the monte.

I do like the cab visor...is it one of those Lund specials wih the cab lights built into it?

nope 4.8 v8, auto, a/c, cd player(i put in a new one anyway)

needs cab corners($30 each), tires, doorpins (included), an exhaust hanger welded back on and other little nitpicky stuff.

i'll get some better pics tomorrow.

one of my friends just sold his 99 ext. cab shortbed with the 4.8 for $5500.

the visor is a lund one but it doesnt have the lights built into it

Dang you suck! my 99 Silverado Z71 long bed regular cab with the 5.3L and 163k miles was $5300 and it still need all 4 rotors done and probably a transmount and some U-joints.

Surprised that it only has a 4.8.......would figure since its a 4x4, it would have a 5.3(mine does...I friggin' LOVE my truck!)......as long as it runs and pulls good, that's all that matters!

Did the PO use it s a plow truck? I've not yet seen a truck of this bodystyle with the cab/rockers ate up like this....simple fix(to the man with a welder and skills), and you'd have a pretty nice truck.

The duals....did they split off to 2 mufflers from the cat/single in, dual out/split pipes off the cat?

Considering doing something for mine(still has the factory single exhaust, would like someting a little more "robust" sounding), curious as to how the pipes are routed/hanger placement.......would like to do a DIY as opposed to a in-the-box exhaust system.
