Did some small projects the last of days.

KD the train set and table. The Grand Kids won't be up for a while and I need the shop space for the next mid size build coming up.

Installed a CB radio into the Grand Cherokee
for Off Road Rallyes. It's not a true Rock Climber, but capable of class 2-3 trails of State and National Parks. Also it can work as the Base Camp contact radio.
Next is to get a better mount for the GPS unit
on the dash and install the
          Incline, Roll, & Compass unit.

And on a Sad Note !

The past Fire Chief I was under on the
Volunteer FD until I retired, his Side by Side
Fell through the ice on Lawrence Lake Monday.
            His funeral is Saturday.

            So, on the PHAT thing.......
I was able to test try on my FD Class A Uniform.
It's a little TIGHT, But I fit into it !!

It is still a SHOCK & SURPRISE that Jim is gone.
He was a Very Active 82 Year Old Gentleman!!

                        New Slate .....

Another project that's been laying around since 2019 is a Rickshaw Motorcycle that was to be for Burning Man in 2020 also.

Here's the first pile of accumulated parts for
                        the project.

There is going to be a rear frame assembly,
But I am working from the front to the rear,
And we will get to that later. Have 2 ideas for a rear axle setup.

Right now trying to get a Plan to Marry the Moped Front Assembly to the Mini Bike Engine
Using as much of the Mini Bike Frame for strength in the Match Up.

The mini bike was a "Donor of Spare Parts"
for the Fat Bob Minnie Me. As you can see it is already missing pieces in the above photo.

Here we are tearing more parts off to get at
a usable size to get under the Moped Chassis.

Today was a lot of Thought Process. Came up with a Good Plan to Marry the Mini Bike Frame
With only 3-4 cuts of the frame to remove the
Triple Tree and lower the frame 2-3 inches.
Have a "Minds Eye" for minimal welding and using the existing engine mount and the Shock Mounts as Good Structural points for attachment.

This is going to be a while, so keep following along as we progress here.
Don't be Afraid to toss in suggestions.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have the Courage for the First Cuts with the sawzall on the mini bike frame.

Oh, here is a Idea pix. This will NOT be this Big
of a Rig. But it has some Great Ideas.

Today's Progress on the Rickshaw Motorcycle.
Again a lot of sizing things up, and evaluation.

Braved the first 3 cuts on the Mini Bike Frame.

This is where I left it off for today.
Tomorrow after errands, will do the final cuts
to the Mini Bike Frame and strike the First
                          Arc's off the welder.

Morning Coffee "POD" on the Rickshaw Motorcycle.

1st, We have not found a Name For It Yet.
But as it comes together, I am sure something is going to come to mind.

2nd, Working on the Rear Frame and Axle
In my Minds Eye. Two things are in play here,
this is ONLY a 5 hp engine with a Centrifugal Clutch off a Mini Bike,
WEIGHT is Going to be a Factor.
                            AND the rear axle that
I have originally salvaged from a Riding Mower
(Not a Garden Tractor, just a Ride On Mower),
may Not Be Strong Enough for TWO Full Sized
Big Around the Middle Adults in the Rear Seat,
And the Weight of the Machine.......
But it has flanges that Match wheels with
a 5 on 4 1/2" bolt Pattern, hence the 14" Car Tires in the first picture.

I have ideas cooking under the Tin Foil Hat,
But again, WEIGHT is the Limiting Factor with only a 5 hp motor.

It will be Gear Reduced to that of Quick Garden Tractor, as it has been Planned as a
Krazy Man's Golf Cart for our Neighborhood.

                            Toss out any ideas.
