    Ok cam change update.

I was planning on regrinding my old cam, but I found a good deal on a new Herbert cam that is very close to what I was going to do and is very close to what was recommended to me by a respected BBF cam/head guy. He also told me the valve springs that came on my TFS heads are good for quite a bit more lift (0.735") than TFS claims, so I don't have to worry about exceeding .680" lift anymore.

    HERCH6H
    Advertised Duration: 291/303
    Duration @ .050: 258/270
    Lift: .685/.683
    Lobe Center: 108c

Sold the EFI intake/rails/elbow/reg/injectors on ebay for $900 and sold the old roller cam yesterday for almost enough to buy the new one. ;D

So the changes to BBRv2.0 are as follows:

    New intake and Holley 950HP
Cam with less duration, more lift and a tighter LSA
10" 4000 stall converter in place of the 11" 3000

    Should be (more) fun!

Yeah discontinued, but it is exactly the same thing as an Edelbrock Victor.

Crazy colors is right..... I guess they do that to make their stuff noticeable!

I liken it to when we go out to eat wit the kids.....

If I let them have the toy out of the kid's meal before they are finished eating, then they play with the toy and won't do what they are supposed to be doing (eating).

Pulling the EFI out of the truck is like taking the toy away from me so I can finish my dinner. lol

    ;D ;D ;D

    ahhhhhhhhhhhh

    NICE!

what's with the crazy proform colors anyway?

I have a couple proform main bodies - one is like fishing lure brite green? WTF?

Well - I have to say I welcome you back to the land of jets, powervalves, booster venturi's air bleeds and accelerator pumps.... at least you have a fall back plan.

I think you'll eventually go back to the laptop side of fuel management - but at least this way you have something you can count on when those electrons just won't behave!

On the air cleaner - look at the old Chrysler dual quad setups. A thin chamber over the carb and a flat passage off to the side where there's more room for the element. I mean, if you're really going back to the Middle Ages with that carb thing.
