Got the new Flaming River steering column in today.
It's the 28" version and will put the steering more where I
want it.
A great bargain considering it's got all the wiring, tilt etc.
The DD shaft is a female fitting.

I've got tilt.
Got the Flaming River tilt column in and what a difference.
It's 2" shorter and much better fit.
Money well spent.

Not being a big fan of billet stuff.....I removed the turn signal and tilt lever
sent with the Flaming River column.
Ordered two stock turn signal levers and modified the one for the tilt.
Looks much better and not out of place.
