Cool progress and thread! The friend that got me into drag racing (bastard!) used to run Stock Eliminator and it's alot harder to be competitive in that class than it would seem, I was always amazed at the creativity and performance achieved. Good Luck but mostly have fun!

Awesome! on teaching another generation fab and racing skills. I don't have kids but I've been teaching my nephew a few shop skills over the last couple years and really enjoyed the time. And I agree, the chain-link guitar would make way cool wall art in office or shop.

Thanks we have allot fun making simple stuff and besides, welding chain links together all day is good practice !

(During a liquidation of a manufacturing facility a few years ago I got a barrel of new chain from the maintenance dept. So it has been the project material of choice for sometime now.)

This was a project went astray ! It started out to be a couple of crossed guitars and a TCB script. This was to go on the face of a steel gate I had built for the drive of my storage building at home. Celeste just kept building them. Gifts for friends, she laced one with some glittery ribbon or shoe strings or something for a wall hanging. We talked about stringing one with lights for Christmas but never got around to doing it.
