The 3 circuit Dominators are the one's with the bad rap. They have that extra intermediate circuit that, save for an air bleed, is essentially not tunable and just dumps fuel at part throttle. I eliminated that 3rd circuit and installed the standard progressive linkage so mine is just a big ole 4150 in operation.

Intermediate (3rd) circuit fuels out this brass tube.

I had this electric evac setup on the Ranger. I decided to go ahead and put it on the Mustang instead of using the header evacs. I have it all mounted and plumbed and will wire it up later.

Will you run that evac full time on the street and track James? Are you running a PCV as well?

Thanks! I can't wait to get it to the track and do some more tuning on it. Track opens this weekend, but I will not be in town. Fail.

I think I am just going to wire it up to run all the time. Worst thing that could happen is it could fail and I would have to go back to the regular vc breathers. I had the Ranger set to run at a certain throttle position, but I don't really have that option with this car.

I am not running a pcv.

What is your exhaust setup? Did you like the header evac system? Any leaks while using it?

3", H pipe, hooker maxflows, dumps.

The header evacs pull good vacuum at low rpm, but not so well at higher rpm because of the back pressure. I usually pull the evacs out of the vc's at the track and put in regular breathers. It pukes a little oil out them on a pass, so I thought I'd try this to see how well it works.

Not particularly, but they do not drone. They were freaking loud on the Ranger, but the H pipe calmed the sound down somewhat.

Finally crawled under the car and looked around. First time since DW. haha

All the collector bolts were loose and 1 was missing. Everything looked good with the exception of a nice coating of trans fluid and dust.

The 02 started acting wonky during DW. It would work fine, then go wacky and blink the lights and peg the needle. I think I figured out why.... The wires for the O2 were sitting on the H-pipe and were melted/exposed to it. Oopsie.

Wired up the electric evac pump. I piggybacked it off the electric fan relay, but it and the fan running at the same time kept blowing the 20A fuse I was running with just the fan. I didn't have a chance to grab any bigger ones. Probably will do that today.

Bumped the fuse size up and the fan and vacuum pump seem to be working fine. Went for a drive yesterday, hammered the throttle a few times pretty hard and everything looked good. The pump seems to be doing it's job well. The 02 is acting normal again since I fixed the wiring.

I finally jacked it up and washed all the Drag Week remains off the bottom. It was pretty filthy from the leaking trans fluid and then the rain, etc.

Track will be open this weekend, so I hope to go and make some passes and see how well the 1050, new shocks and hood scoop works.

Is the fuse size still adequate for the wire size you are using? ie 30 amp fuse for #10 wire
