Just dropped the car off at Sinister Racecraft here in Amarillo to get a harness bar permanently mounted. They are gonna throw it on the scales when it is there too. Almost scared to know what it weighs on each corner. lol

Actually it weighed 3315 on the scale in Topeka. I have always assumed that was correct. It's prob going to be pretty nose heavy though. I'm gonna guess it's around 60/40.

Did you get your corner weights? I had my Javelin on a 4-corner scale last year, interesting stuff.Comment

I think he has them out there. I'll check when I pick up the car. He just called to tell me it was done and told me the weight and distribution.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

Ok I goofed the distribution a little. It is really 59.52/F, 40.48/R. Corner weights are LF 950 RF 970 LR 637 RR 669. So the right side is about 52 pounds heavier than the left without the driver. Interesting.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

how far is the engine offset to the right? most "small car" engines were offset from the factory. My fabulous web page

Yes you are right, plus the battery is on the LF too. I bet that accounts for the difference. Jonathan weighed his Mustang as well. It was lighter, but the F/R distribution was nearly identical to mine.Last edited by BBR; August 27, 2014, 07:45 PM.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.
