I am really impressed what you have done with this car in less than 3 years. Do you plan to keep playing with it and fine tune it, or will you have to fine another project to build?
I am starting to realise I can not own them all. I need to be more like BBR (one project) and less like Beagle (more that one project, ) I guess I need to deside which one I want to play with and then deside what to do with the rest of them. I guess I need to define a goal, maybe that will help. This growing up and being responsable sucks.
I can provide reasonable cost storage until you change your mind and want them back. HA!
Congrats James, somehow at page 150, your 10.50's seem a suitable reward. You're in Squirrels' arena now, you can drive it for a while!! I'll go ahead and say I didn't know whether to be happier for you for the 10's or the trip with minimal hood up time required and no stretchers.

Like I said, it could have blown up on Monday and I would still be happy that it dipped into the 10's. Finishing the week was the icing and placing 2nd was the big fat cherry on top. It was a damn fairy tale if you ask me. lol

I like the tire in the air pic. Alas, I have never owned a car that did that and probably never will. Still, I have fun.
BIG congrats from North Carolina. Give a shout when in the area and I'll pop for the world's best burger (ask Brian) and the soft drink of your choice.
What's so incredibly impressive about this isn't so much the ETs and trap speeds (although they are remarkable too); it's the dependabilty of a package that has an almost-mountain motor stuffed into a virtual enclosed go-cart. Car Craft should be banging on your door for a feature spread.
Haha thanks. My favorite thing about this car is it's simplcity. Smaller car, bolt-together big engine, one wire ignition, one wire alternator. There's nothing trick or heavily modified so it's a combo that dang near anyone could duplicate if they wanted to. Can't wait to fiddle some more with it.
