The more I think about using an MS for ignition, the more sense it makes. Being able to tune it/datalog it with my phone or Tuner Studio, have rev limit, 2 step and having the ability to control other functions like the electric fan, meth (if necessary) and what not is a huge benefit. Not to mention being able to convert it to efi should the desire arise.
I have a TFI distributor, a remote mount TFI module and heatsink, and a TFI coil, so all I need is the MS. It's dang near a no brainer.
