Not sure I will make it, nowhere to keep my dogs, and I have no place to stay while I am there. Lots of logistics issues regardless if I get it done in time, which I know I can. I want to make the trip, but unless something changes I will have to sleep in the truck with the dogs while I am there.

It's more fun when I don't have to rework a bunch of it. After a long day of making a yellow car blue, it became horribly apparent that there were some dents being hidden by the yellow that somehow were not discovered while sanding with a long board. How the hell I missed them is beyond me, but the medium blue color brings them out wonderfully.Comment

I have a spare room but I think your dogs would kill my cat.Originally posted by Thumpin455 View PostNot sure I will make it, nowhere to keep my dogs, and I have no place to stay while I am there. Yeah, smaller furry non dogs are tasty tennis ball like snacks to them.
More pics tomorrow in the sunlight, these were quick shots after the fumes cleared a bit.

A bit more peel on the doors, a few runs I need to fix, and a dent that popped up outta the
blue.

Have runs to fix, some other things to do. I should have pulled the fender from the LeMans and used it rather than fix this one since it needs more work, but all in all it came out ok. Just a driver, not a show car, looks good from 10ft or more, but the hood looks really nice. I'll be seeing the hood more often than the rest of it.

I always liked GTOs in blue, but most up here were green or other colors....Patrick & Tammy

This one was Montero red, 389 4 speed 4 barrel from the factory. I have way too many red cars as it is, and I liked this blue on every Ford I saw it on. Not many green 65s, mostly black, blue, red, and yellow, with a few iris mist purple. 68 to 72 saw lots more green ones. Most of the factory colors from back then are boring to me, and I almost went with a bright gold, but decided against it.
Once the paint firms up a bit more, I'll put the body back together and put the bumpers on. Need to fix some runs and orange peel first, so I might have to shoot some more clear on it first. I'll mess with it a little today and find out.Comment
